The definition of intercession:  the Hebrew word is "paga."  According to Strong's Concordance, it means, "to impinge, by accident or violence, or (fig.) by importunity: -- come (betwixt), cause to entreat, fall (upon), make intercessions, intercessor, intreat, lay, light (upon), meet (together), pray, reach, run.
